The state of Maine offers world class upland game hunting opportunities chasing after Ruffed Grouse and the migratory American Woodcock

Rates

Full day and half day trips offered at a flat daily rate

$600 per full day, lunch/beverages are provided(7-8hrs)

$600 per half day, beverages are provided, lunch is not(4hrs)

Sebec Lake Region

Just outside of Dover-Foxcroft lies an expansive dirt road system that can lead you to the Grouse promise land. Timber harvesting has left behind great covers that have grown up providing ample habitat for Grouse and Woodcock.

Lakeside lodging on Sebec Lake is available through a private Air BnB

Grand lake Stream

The Grand Lake Stream region offers tons of opportunity for both upland game species. The down east covers challenge even the best shooters. GLS is in the primary flyway for Woodcock headed south from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

What hunting gear do I need?

Huck Finn's Guide Service does not provide any gear for an upland hunting trip. You are Required to bring your own personal gear along for the trip.

Required gear: Shotgun, Shotgun shells and two articles of hunter orange clothing

How is payment accepted?

Cash or Venmo are accepted forms of payment.

What is your cancellation policy?

$200 deposit per day per trip that you are booking.

Cancellation 30 days prior to the date of your trip is refundable.

Cancellation Within 30 days of your trip is non refundable.

Do I need a hunting license?

Yes, You must purchase your own Maine hunting license for our day in the woods together. Maine hunting licenses can be purchased at the link below.
